Anchor Technologies is proud to announce that we are a finalist for the 2018 Cybersecurity Association of Maryland Cybersecurity Diversity Award. This award recognizes companies in Maryland that support and train underrepresented groups, provides training to underserved populations and has a diverse workforce. This defines our team at Anchor and we are honored to be recognized.
Anchor Technologies, Inc., a cybersecurity consulting firm headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, announced today that it is expanding its services offerings to include cybersecurity education and training. With over fifteen years focused on cybersecurity, Anchor has leveraged that experience to launch a cyber academy, the Anchor Center for Cyber Skill (ACCS) designed to fill a gap in the market for real-world cyber education and skillsets.
“This is not your typical training program”, said Anchor President and CEO, Peter Dietrich. “The classes will be led by our seasoned team members, each with over a decade of active, real-world cyber experience.”
The ACCS training program will focus on three core areas: product, practitioner, and end user. Product training will initially focus on Check Point technologies, providing students with the knowledge to obtain their CCSA and CCSE certifications. Practitioner training offers a CISSP boot camp, while end user training will support organizations by offering security awareness training classes, meeting HIPAA, NIST, and PCI-DSS requirements.
Additionally, seminars geared towards supporting the small business community, will help these businesses understand the fundamental actions they can take to help them achieve a more mature security posture while working within budgetary constraints.
“The Anchor Center for Cyber Skill will fill a gap in the market and provide IT professionals a quick and affordable path to achieving a valued cybersecurity education.” said Peter Dietrich.
